Introducing Progress Bars

Writing the Grace Bible is such slow work that I often don’t know what day of the week it is. This is an affliction common to authors. We get so buried in words and sentences that we lose all track of time.

Some authors write like they talk. They just type whatever comes to their mind.

I am not one of those people. I’m more of a bricklayer building paragraphs one word at a time. When I finish, I go back and replace half the bricks. And then I do it again. And again.

Most of my books go through at least four drafts. With that in mind, here’s a picture of my progress:

The good news is the next finish line is in sight. I am charging along with the next installment in the Grace Bible series. If all goes well, The Grace Bible: Galatians will be released in July/August.

In my next email, I will give you a sneak peek inside the new book. I will also tell you how you can get an advance copy long before the book goes on sale.

Until then.

Paul
